Your Pipeline Knows Everything. It Still Waits on You.
HubSpot holds the whole picture - every contact, every company, every deal and where it sits in the pipeline, every call and email logged against a record. And then it waits. It waits for you to open it before a call, update the stage after one, and remember the follow-up nobody logged. The CRM is only ever as current as the last time someone did the data entry - and that someone is usually you, at the end of a long day.
I’m Nir Sabato, co-founder and CEO of Catch. We built Catch to be the Admin Savior - an AI executive assistant that takes the end-to-end admin off your plate. Connect HubSpot, and Catch works your CRM the way a sharp chief of staff would: it pulls the right record before a call, logs the note and the next step after it, and keeps contacts and deals current - without you ever opening the app.
What Catch Does in Your HubSpot CRM
Catch connects through HubSpot’s official API and works on top of your CRM, not instead of it. HubSpot stays exactly as your team set it up - your properties, your pipelines, your stages - and Catch is just the layer that finally does the reading and the upkeep for you.
And because Catch reaches you wherever you already are - Slack, text, iMessage, or a phone call - you don’t have to be in HubSpot to get anything out of it. Ask “what’s the latest with the Acme deal?” from your phone and Catch pulls the record, the current stage, the recent activity, and the open tasks, then answers in plain language.
How to Connect HubSpot to Catch
Connecting happens right in your chat with Catch and takes about a minute. There are no API keys to copy and paste - you authorize Catch from HubSpot’s own screen.
- Start with CatchNo account yet? Sign up at app.catchagent.ai and connect your calendar to get going.
- Ask Catch to connect HubSpotMessage it on any channel - "Connect my HubSpot CRM." Catch sets up the integration and sends back a secure connection link.
- Authorize on HubSpotOpen the link and you're taken to HubSpot's own authorization screen. Pick the account, review the access, click Connect, and you're redirected back - connected. Catch never sees your password.
- Put it to workTry "Show me the latest on the Acme deal in HubSpot" or "Log a call on Dana and set the deal to Proposal Sent," and Catch takes it from there.
Authentication
Catch authenticates to HubSpot with OAuth 2.0 - the standard “Connect app” flow you already know from adding any trusted app to HubSpot. You grant access from HubSpot’s own consent screen, so Catch never sees or stores your HubSpot password.
- You authorize from HubSpot. At connect time you’re sent to HubSpot’s authorization page, where you choose the account and review the access being requested before approving it. Nothing is shared with Catch until you click Connect.
- Tokens, not passwords. Catch receives an access token (and a refresh token to keep the connection alive) scoped to what you approved. They’re encrypted at rest with AWS KMS and never written to logs.
- Revoke anytime. Remove Catch from the connected apps in your HubSpot account settings, or just ask Catch to disconnect. Either one revokes access immediately.
You Stay in Control of Every Write
Reading your CRM is one thing; changing it is another, and Catch treats them differently. Actions that write to HubSpot - creating a record, logging an engagement, moving a deal stage - run through Catch’s approval model, so it checks with you before it makes a change where your sign-off matters. You get an assistant that keeps the CRM current, without giving up control over what lands in it.
There’s a natural line, too, in what Catch touches: it works on your records - contacts, companies, deals, and tickets - not your account configuration. It won’t create pipelines, invent custom properties, or rewire your automations; that stays in HubSpot’s settings, where it belongs. Catch keeps the data current inside the structure your team already built.
Catch is built for executives, which means it’s built around the questions their teams ask before connecting anything to a system of record. Catch is SOC 2 Type II certified (audited by EY) and a Google Verified App that passed CASA Tier 2 review. It’s hosted in the US, runs on proprietary models, and does not use your data to train third-party models.
Frequently Asked Questions
How does Catch connect to HubSpot?
Through HubSpot’s official API, authorized with OAuth 2.0. You approve access from HubSpot’s own consent screen during setup - no API keys to copy - and Catch stores the resulting tokens encrypted at rest with AWS KMS.
Do I share my HubSpot password with Catch?
No. OAuth means you authorize Catch from HubSpot’s own screen and Catch only ever receives a scoped token. Your password never touches Catch.
Do I need to be a HubSpot admin to connect it?
You need permission to connect a third-party app to your HubSpot account. If your account restricts that, ask whoever administers HubSpot to approve the connection.
What can Catch actually do in my HubSpot CRM?
It can look up contacts, companies, deals, and tickets, read their properties and engagement history, bring that context into your meeting prep, and keep records current - creating records, logging calls, notes, and meetings, updating properties, and moving deals between stages. Changes that need your sign-off go through Catch’s approval step first. It works on records, not account setup, so it won’t create pipelines, custom properties, or workflows - those stay in HubSpot’s settings.
Is my HubSpot data secure with Catch?
Yes. Catch is SOC 2 Type II certified (audited by EY) and a Google Verified App that passed CASA Tier 2 review. Your data is hosted in the US and never used to train third-party models, and your HubSpot tokens are KMS-encrypted at rest and never logged.
How do I disconnect HubSpot?
Remove Catch from the connected apps in your HubSpot account settings, or ask Catch to disconnect. Either one revokes access right away.
How much does the HubSpot integration cost?
It’s included. Catch is a flat $99 per month - no credits, no usage tiers, no per-integration fees - and there’s a 10-day free trial, so you can connect HubSpot and watch it work before you pay anything.
